Dee & Dragi Engaged!

Yay!! I just found out - checking my email in dublin airport! No one texted me, I assumed they tried to call, but I aint picking up my phone. So if you want to contact me text or email!

I'm back in HK tuesday night, but first have a lovely weekend in dublin to go. Meeting RM & Beth in a couple of hours at some restaurant - here's hoping I can find it. Had a great day with Struth, bit of shopping, eating and dvds. Oh and the best strawberries I've had in a long while...

Alright off to try and contact Dee! I cant wait! Guess I'll be coming back to sydney for a visit....Its only money right ;)

well nat i finally asked your dad how do i respond on this blog as i log on every now and then to read where and what you're up to.
despite the fact that you don't like your job you seem to be having an amazing time, travelling, meeting so many people, being paid well - so surely there must be a job within your computer skills area that you would really love. perhaps you could join the U.N or one of the other ngo's, where you can do computer stuff and keep travelling etc... anyway, the food in Japan sounds great, one day we'll go there, i'd like to see the gardens - have you been to any?
all's well here, gerd has gone camping with 5 other "boys" for the weekend - jess is bridesmaid for her best friend Lisa this weekend - i'm gardening, sculpting, reading, cooking, bike riding, and generally loving the retired life - we had 9 weeks travelling the north of oz in our campervan, brilliant, what a country.
plan to go away just mooching over xmas then next year back to europe for the summer (our winter)
andrew will be here in May then we'll leave when he does. this time we'll take the tandem bike with us so we can ride round europe, catch some trains and just take our time.
we do some lovely rides in sydney, even through the city which can be scarry but we don't get too stressed - it's better than sitting in the car stuck in a jam.
well that's about it.
keep well, be happy, life's too short not to have a job you like, you can always do another degree in something else and work part time - i think jess will do that next year - besides you don't have to have one career all your life, try other things.
much love,
kathy
